I am a textiles and material designer who thinks a lot about sustainability in the fashion and textile context. I'm an east coast native, but I go where the wind blows, especially if it is in the direction of a loom. I'm a firm believer in an interdisciplinary approach to creating and my personal philosophy is that you can never know enough.
I'm also a huge fan of making. This includes, but is not limited to: Making fabric, making art, making food, making plans, making things work, making people laugh, making friends, and making lists.
